Stays

A place that matches your days

We do not choose accommodation by stars, but by where you will wake up and where you need to be half an hour later.

The same room can be excellent for two nights in Ljubljana and entirely wrong for a week at Bled with children. Before proposing anything, we ask what your days will look like: how often you move, when you come back in the evening, and what has to be within walking distance.

Then you get a short selection, usually three options with a clear difference between them, and an honest note on what each one really gives you. Booking, correspondence and any changes are ours to handle.

Hotels

When you want service, not responsibility

For short stays and business visits a hotel is usually the least demanding choice. What matters is the selection: location relative to your meetings, the quiet side of the building, a breakfast worth getting up for, and parking that is not half an hour away.

We suggest hotels we know and arrange the specific requests: late check-in, adjoining rooms, a quieter floor.

Apartments and houses

When you are staying longer

Beyond a few days, a kitchen and a washing machine suddenly matter more than a reception desk. For families and expats we look for apartments and houses where ordinary life is simple.

We check the practical details listings tend to leave out: noise, parking, getting luggage in, and what is genuinely within walking distance.

Longer stays

For those arriving for a season

For stays of several weeks or months the conversation changes: the contract, the running costs, the internet and the distance to a school or nursery become the deciding factors.

We help with the selection, the viewings and the agreement with the owner, and stay available during the stay if something goes wrong.

Tell us when you are coming

Send us your dates, number of guests and a brief outline of what you have in mind. We will ask only what is necessary to understand the request, then come back with a considered proposal.
