Transport & Planning

Slovenia is compact enough to cover a great deal in a single day, yet varied enough that good planning makes all the difference.

Ljubljana to Lake Bled takes around 30 minutes, while Piran is approximately 90 minutes away, depending on traffic, season and road conditions.

We plan transportation as an integral part of the programme, rather than as a separate service. The vehicle and driver are selected according to the route, luggage requirements and the nature of the occasion, whether for a business arrival, private stay or family itinerary.

The result is a seamless journey, planned around your schedule rather than around the logistics.

Someone is waiting, even when the flight is late

Transfers from Ljubljana, Trieste, Zagreb, Venice and Vienna are arranged with a driver who tracks the flight and waits if the arrival slips.

For late arrivals we also arrange the key handover in advance, so a locked reception at two in the morning is not your problem.

When there are more than two stops

With several meetings or several places in one day, a driver on call is calmer and usually cheaper than separate transfers.

The car stays with you, luggage and purchases can be left in it, and the schedule can change during the day.

Between towns and across borders

Slovenia as a base, not a border

Journeys between Ljubljana, Bled, the coast and the mountains are routine, and so are cross-border runs into Italy, Austria and Croatia: Trieste, Venice, Salzburg, Zagreb.

On longer routes we suggest stops that are worth making, so the drive is more than moving between two points.

When time costs more than the journey

For arrivals that have to be fast, and days that will not fit a road schedule, we arrange helicopter transfers, private aviation, and yacht or boat charter.

Alpine transfers to the slopes and mountain lodges, scenic flights over the Julian Alps and arrivals by sea on the coast, all planned into the rest of the programme rather than bolted on beside it.
